By using the plugin, form data can be collected in the background as users fill in the fields and sent to the administrator by email..

Sometimes, the users abandon the forms before submitting them. Maybe because the form is too long, complex, or simply because of the user changes of mind in the middle of the process. However, the partial information entered by users is very valuable for the website's owner. The website's owner can identify where the users are abandoning the forms, or contact them for feedback, or simply for statistical reasons. The "Data collector for Calculated Fields Form" plugin supplies all these needs.

The installation process of the "Data Collector for Calculated Fields Form" is similar to other plugins in WordPress, it requires to download the zip file with the plugin's code to your computer (visiting the download link provided after purchasing), and follow the steps below:

  1. Go to the Plugins section on your WordPress.
  2. Press the "Add New" button at the top of section.
  3. Press the "Upload Plugin" button, and then select the zipped file downloaded previously.
  4. Finally, install and activate the plugin.

The plugin generates the menu option "Calculate Fields Form > Data Collector". The new page allows you to register your copy of the plugin to receive the updates directly on your WordPress, instead of download and install them manually. Furthermore, this page allows deactivating the plugin completely, deleting its database and options.

To register the plugin go to the menu option: "Calculated Fields Form > Data Collector", enter the email address used to purchase the plugin, and then press the "Register" button.

  • Collect the information by pressing the "Next Page" button: This attribute affects only the multi-page forms. It could be configured for triggering the collector by pressing the "Next Page" button on the first page, by pressing every "Next Page" button, or by pressing the button on a specific page.
